Understanding LASSIE: Service-Learning Reporting On Tuesday, May 4, the Pennsylvania Department of Education, in partnership with the Center for Schools and Communities, offered a one-hour, live, online session, "Understanding LASSIE: Service-Learning Reporting." This workshop was designed to provide guidance to Pennsylvania's Learn & Serve grantees regarding the mandatory annual grant reporting. LASSIE is the Learn & Service System Information Exchange. Participants learned how to access the online system, the timeline for data submission, standard information that is requested, and what to do if there are questions about the data entry process.
The presenters were Susan D'Annunzio, Student Services Supervisor and State Coordinator, Pennsylvania Department of Education and Garry (Hutch) Hutchison, Program Officer, Pennsylvania Department of Education. Ms.D'Annunzio and Mr. Hutchison presented on LASSIE 2009-2010 and included time for questions from the online participants.
